Overview

Jensen Blaine is a law school graduate with a strong foundation in psychology, public service, and legal advocacy. In his role as a Law Clerk with Murphy Austin’s Family Law Practice Team, Jensen helps research legal issues and drafts memos for supervising attorneys.

Previously, Jensen served as a summer law clerk at the Children’s Law Center of California, where he made court appearances on behalf of clients, conducted legal research, prepared court briefs, and engaged in client visits. He has also served as a volunteer crisis prevention counselor at Wellspace Health Suicide Prevention, where his role focused on providing information about legal, financial, and psychological aid to help support people in crisis. Additionally, he served as an administrative assistant at CommuniCare Health Centers, where he collaborated with social workers and psychiatrists to provide input to help develop treatment plans for clients facing addiction, homelessness, and severe mental illness.

Jensen earned his J.D., with great distinction, from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law. He received his B.A. in Psychology, magna cum laude, from California State University, Sacramento.
