Spencer Turpen practices complex civil litigation throughout California, with an emphasis on construction law matters and a special focus on creative problem solving in litigation. Spencer represents public entities, private owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and sureties on a wide range of issues within the construction industry. He is dedicated to providing excellent legal representation to his clients.
Prior to joining Murphy Austin, Spencer represented clients in general and business litigation matters at a mid-sized general practice law firm in Sacramento.
Spencer earned his J.D. from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and received his B.A. in Political Economy from University of California, Berkeley. He was recognized in Sacramento Magazine’s 2020 list of Top Lawyers in the Sacramento region.
