Healthcare Regulatory and Compliance Associate – California

Murphy Austin is looking for a healthcare regulatory and compliance associate to join its Sacramento office. The position will focus on provider licensure, enrollment, questions regarding compliance with state and federal laws, and reimbursement issues. Our practice represents nearly all provider types, with a particular focus on reproductive healthcare providers and both FQHC and non-FQHC primary care clinics.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Family PACT, provider audit appeals and investigations, drafting policies and procedures, and some experience with Stark/AKS, HIPAA/CMIA, minor consent rules, and telehealth,. All candidates should have excellent writing and oral skills, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong interest in health law and policy. Candidates with experience working directly with healthcare providers or that have relevant government experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Compensation for this position ranges from $140,000 – $165,000 and is dependent on skills and substantive experience.
