Pamela A. Lewis is an experienced litigation and appellate attorney in the Construction Law Group.  Pam has over 20 years of experience in handling matters related to construction law, construction defects, employment disputes and general business issues. 
 
Pam has represented contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in suits seeking payment for work performed at construction projects.  Related issues handled in the construction arena include disputes concerning alleged construction defects or design deficiencies and those involving stop notices, mechanic's liens, rights and obligations under payment and performance bonds and claims under the state or federal False Claims Acts.  Pam has also handled litigation involving delay and impact claims including requests for equitable adjustment submitted to governmental entities.
 
In other fields of practice, Pam has handled the defense of litigation cases brought under the Americans with Disabilities Act and companion California anti-discrimination laws as well as suits related to workplace harassment and discrimination. 
 
Pam was admitted to the California State Bar Association in 1984.  Pam is a member of the United States Supreme Court bar and is also admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Central, Eastern and Northern District Federal courts as well as all courts of the State of California.  Pam received her B.A degree from the University of California, Berkeley, majoring in both political science and Dutch Studies. Pam received her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law. 
 
Pam has written several articles on various topics related to the construction and employment fields of practice as well as other articles concerning constitutional issues.  Her background includes study abroad in the Netherlands with resulting fluency in the Dutch language.

  • Thompson v. Impaxx, Inc. (2003) 113 Cal.App.4th 1425.
