Larry Luong is an attorney in the firm’s Environmental and Business Litigation practice groups. He focuses his practice in the representation of clients involved in federal and state environmental enforcement actions, regulatory compliance matters including application of the Clean Water Act, and government cost recovery efforts including those involving application of CERCLA. He has substantial experience analyzing and litigating liabilities which arise from environmental contamination matters. In addition to environmental matters, Larry has experience representing clients from emerging growth companies to major corporations in a wide range of business transactions and litigation disputes. He often litigates complex business litigation matters involving real property transactions and corporate dissolution actions.

Larry graduated from the UCLA School of Law with a specialization in Corporate Law. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California at Berkeley. Larry enjoys volunteering his time as a scholarship application examiner and interviewer for the California Alumni Association.

Representative Matters

• Defended corporate client involved in multi-million dollar environmental clean-up action arising from groundwater contamination at former U.S. military base
• Represented dairy farming client in dispute with developer concerning land option agreement
• Represented owners of commercial property subject to county and state environmental oversight to remediate contamination of soil and groundwater
• Represented corporate clients in shareholder dissolution actions
• Successfully resolved insurance coverage dispute on behalf of corporate clients regarding liability associated with manufacture of defective computer motherboards
• Resolved dispute on behalf of client for liability arising out of damages associated with underground storage tank leak
• Advised corporate client in resolution of litigation brought by tenants against landlord for allegations of toxic mold exposure
