Donald Brodeur
is a partner in the Estate Planning, Tax
Law and Corporate and Business Law Groups. His practice focuses on
the representation of clients in the areas of corporate and partnership
law, business and tax planning, corporate reorganizations, tax problems
of corporations and partnerships, corporate acquisitions, recapitalizations
and divisions, estate and gift tax matters, estate planning, and real
estate tax matters.
In addition to his active practice, Don is a member of the State Bar
of California, and the Sacramento County Bar Association's Tax Section.
He is also a board member of the Sacramento County Estate Planning Council.
He has served as a Senior Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Tax Program
at Golden Gate University since 1982 where he teaches Taxation of Corporations
and Shareholders, and Taxation of Corporate Reorganizations. He was named
the University's outstanding tax instructor in 1986 and 1990.
Don earned his B.S. from the United States Military Academy in 1971,
and his J.D. from the University of the Pacific's McGeorge School of Law
in 1976. He received his LL.M. in Taxation from McGeorge School of Law
in 1982.
