Carrie Ramage is an associate with the firm's Healthcare Practice Team.  Prior to joining the firm, Carrie was in civil litigation practice with a number of highly respected litigation firms in Northern California.  She has substantial experience in all phases of litigation, including discovery, deposition, law and motion, mediation, arbitration and trial.

Carrie’s litigation practice has focused on the representation of healthcare providers in payment disputes with managed care payers, and assistance with various state and federal administrative and regulatory matters.  She has also represented skilled nursing facilities in regulatory and elder abuse actions, hospital medical staffs in peer review and provider disciplinary actions, and medical groups in contractual disputes with physicians.  She has developed litigation plans, counseled clients in matters pertaining to business disputes and breach of contract, and provided risk management guidance to clients seeking to avoid litigation.

Carrie served from 1998-1999 as the Managing Editor for Journal of Law and Trade in the Americas.  After her graduation from Southwestern University School of Law in 1999, she served as an associate attorney, preparing complaints, settling demands, and participating in arbitrations and mediations.  She received her undergraduate degrees in political science and economics from California State University, Long Beach in 1994.

Carrie is admitted to practice in jurisdictions including the State of California and the Eastern United States District Court of California.
