Murphy Austin is one of the top firms in Sacramento and one of the firms people look to first when searching for employment.
Murphy Austin Adams Schoenfeld LLP is looking for an attorney with 4 to 6 years of civil litigation experience to join our collegial and team oriented practice. Construction law experience is desired but is not essential. Who is Murphy Austin? We are a mid-sized firm that strives to build meaningful and lasting relationships with our clients and their businesses. In order to further this goal, we hire attorneys who have a passion for what they do and who are driven to be of service to others, including their clients, their community, and other members of the firm. Many of our attorneys started at large firms but eventually realized that bigger isn’t always better and that there are significant advantages to practicing at a smaller firm that can be nimble and not get bogged down in bureaucracy. Murphy Austin’s attorneys are highly respected and sought after by the region’s top businesses.
We believe that associates excel when they are involved in cases in a meaningful way from beginning to end. The successful candidate will practice in a collaborative environment where an associate/partner team approach allows the associate to be given substantial responsibility and to provide input on all aspects of the case. We seek an associate who shares our goals and has a talent and passion for zealous advocacy in our clients’ interests. This includes strong persuasive writing skills and the ability to speak on their feet, both when fully prepared and also when the unexpected occurs. Murphy Austin offers a competitive salary and benefit package as well as an associate bonus program. Qualified candidates should send a resume and writing sample to Joelle Stone at email@example.com or to 555 Capitol Mall, Suite 850, Sacramento, CA 95814.
