Healthcare Litigation Associate

 

Murphy Austin Adams Schoenfeld LLP, an established mid-size law firm located in Sacramento, seeks a litigation associate to join its healthcare law practice team. The MAAS healthcare law practice team represents academic medical centers, health systems, hospitals, clinics, air ambulance companies, medical groups and other healthcare providers throughout California in managed care, Medicare, Medicaid and other reimbursement litigation in federal and state court, arbitration, administrative, and regulatory proceedings. Experience and background in complex business litigation and/or healthcare law is helpful but not required; however, a commitment to focusing on healthcare issues is required. The successful candidate must excel at handling multiple concurrent tasks with different supervisors and enjoy working in a team environment. A proven track record of outstanding writing and analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, personal performance, goal setting, achievement, and leadership are all required for this position.

Billing Clerk

 

Murphy Austin Adams Schoenfeld LLP is a downtown law firm looking for a qualified Billing Clerk candidate with five-plus years of law firm accounting experience. Law firm billing experience is essential. The successful candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, professional environment, enjoy working as part of a team, and demonstrate a commitment to client service. In addition, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail as well as the ability to work well with others is required.


Advanced computer skills and aptitude are also required. Advanced skills in time and billing software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and document management systems are required, with proficiency in TABS III a plus. Must be able and willing to learn other software systems that support a law firm accounting department.
